Our Mission

The Accountability Journalism Institute is committed to restoring public trust in America’s vital institutions by countering mis-, dis-, and malinformation and the bad actors fueling it. We focus on public health misinformation due to its increasingly central role in a wider campaign to destabilize democratic institutions and institutions of public good. Our work includes not only providing accurate scientific information and elevating reliable voices but also investigating and revealing the financial backers and networks behind public health disinformation campaigns.
