Resources for Journalism
As part of our mission to restore trust in America’s institutions, the Accountability Journalism Institute is committed to improving the coverage of public health and science in the media.
In this age of unlimited political spending, AI, and algorithms, falsehood spreads faster than fact. With the country facing an accelerating climate crisis and the looming threat of pandemic disease, the need for rigorous and coherent journalistic standards has never been more urgent.
To support this effort, we have convened a Scientific Advisory Board composed of leading experts in public health and journalism. This body will develop a set of guidelines to ensure that reporting on critical issues and emerging public health threats accurately reflects scientific consensus—without lending undue legitimacy to bad actors or bad-faith perspectives.
In addition to shaping these standards, our website will feature expert commentary and analysis from members of the advisory board, providing essential insight into the most pressing public health challenges of our time.
